Maybe I'm being a little sentimental because our baby was born 2 years ago today. I dropped her off at daycare and she cried because she's still adjusting to the change. It's always us. Our days are always together. We're learning how to navigate toddlerhood, a strong personality (or 2!), and she's learning how to communicate what she needs. She loves her dogs, her babies, cooking me lunch in her kitchen, and exploring new parks in the afternoons. Oh, how time has flown by already.Read More
Picking out the perfect location for your family photos can be one of the more stressful parts about thinking through the details. Sometimes this stops you right there from booking your session. Oh, how that makes my heart sad! Sometimes, the most beautiful locations don't work the best for capturing your family's memories. Here are my 5 quick tips for taking better photos of kiddos that you can use on your phone so you can get out and practice, too!Read More
I'm usually photographing a family when I'm in Eagle, but this time I popped in to photograph this sweet gem. If you know me and my heart for business you know that I LOVE to support local! Don't get me wrong, I love the big chains (hello, I worked for Starbucks for years and years and years!) but we always try to support the small business when we can.Read More
I'm going to be honest here. I'm not the photographer that grew up knowing this was her calling. I never studied it in college. I didn't have any family members who were professionals. In high school I thought I was going to be Jennifer Lopez's character on the Wedding Planner.Read More
This month I'm celebrating one year of saying no to photos being trapped on computers. A year of designing jaw dropping heirloom albums that the grandkids will gush over forever. And one year of installing framed galleries that families will smile at every. single. day.Read More
